About Us
WHO WE ARE...the Georgia Association for Home Health Agencies, Inc. (GAHHA) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1979, representing home care providers who are certified and licensed by the State of Georgia. GAHHA provides an organized voice statewide, region wide and nationally for home care providers.
WHAT WE DO...GAHHA fosters high standards of home care through education of providers. We monitor both State and Federal legislation and regulations to inform members of the potential impact on home care. GAHHA interacts with state agencies in order to maintain input in home care related policy making.
WHAT OUR MEMBERS DO...A full range of professional health care services are provided in the home under the direction of the patient's physician including, but not limited to: Skilled Nursing, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Home Infusion, Medical Social Services, Home Health Aide Services. The members of the Georgia Association for Home Health Agencies, Inc. work diligently to meet industry challenges and promote the highest standards of home care for consumers.
THE ASSOCIATION is governed by a Board of Directors which includes an Executive Committee, five Regional Directors, and seven Standing Committee Chairs.
GAHHA operates as an IRS 501(c)(6) corporation.
We currently have one full time Executive Director who manages the day-to-day operations of the Association.
